It's Time to Pace Ourselves | New Appointment Process

Wait, it’s only February?! It’s been such a crazy year already, but none of us could have predicted being in the situation we’re in now. The market is hot… actually, it’s on fire. More than on fire… it’s exploded. To be transparent, we’ve had the utmost privilege of kicking off this year adding so many of you to our Stylecraft family, that we now have to begin pacing ourselves. Demand is high. Costs of materials are rising. If we’re going to continue being the company you all know and love… known for outstanding customer service and transparent practices, then we have to slow down a bit.

What does this mean moving forward?

Our team is continuing to put you first, as always. In order to do so, we must change how we do appointments. This way we can ensure we’re giving you the most up-to-date information, as well as the time and attention you deserve. Every week we’ll have a waitlist for appointments. Some communities have already been experiencing this, but now the need has spread. 

  • Pricing and availability will be discussed at time of appointment, due to the fluid market situation we’re currently in.
    • Pre-approvals will be required at time of your appointment, and we recommend using base pricing provided online as a guidepost for preapprovals. Best practice is to go above base pricing to allow room for options and potential homesite premiums.
  • Each week, our Award-Winning online sales team will maintain a list of those ready for an appointment to begin their purchasing journey.
  • On Friday, we’ll release appointments, per availability, via an email to everyone on the list.
    • Appointments will be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis, so be sure to keep an eye out!
    • Appointment times will be booked according to pre-determined time slots for the community. This way, we’re able to get as much information to you as possible in one appointment.*
  • The email on Friday will also indicate how many homes/homesites we’re able to reserve the following week.
    • If prior to your appointment, these reservations have been maxed out, our on-site sales team will reach out to you to re-schedule your appointment, giving you priority for the following week.

    We know this is a big change, and certainly a crazy time for all. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our team works diligently on our end to continue to create the best experience possible for our wonderful homeowners, purchasers, visitors, and realtors. This will likely be temporary, and we’ll be sure to keep you all updated as we continue to adapt our practices to best serve all of you.
