Individual will be responsible for the supervision and administration of individual jobs from start of construction to closing, in accordance with the time and budget requirements, job plans, specifications and governing codes.

The Assistant Construction Superintendent is responsible for the assisting the superintendent in supervision and administration of individual jobs from start of construction to closing, in accordance with the time and budget requirements, job plans, specifications and governing codes.

The Quality Assurance Manager, under the direction of the Director of Warranty and Quality Assurance Department, is responsible for providing Field Quality Control inspections in support of Stylecraft Builders construction standards and guidelines. This individual will work independently spending up to 80% of time in the field performing home site inspections following local, state and national building codes or other similar program standards. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct Pre-drywall inspections, Final Inspections and Confirmation of Completion Inspections on all assigned homes.
  • Assist in the ongoing refinement and enhancement of the QA standards, installation specifications, and QA delivery systems as well as providing input into divisional feedback system to improve products, scopes of work, quality, quantities, cost reductions, and system efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain high performance standards for timely scheduling and on-time arrival, positive client relations, and quality assurance protocols. 
  • Provide technical support to trade contractors related to job installation and best practices.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts, trainers, and outside vendors and sub-contractors to ensure services are installed per contract and building guidelines.
  • Maintain current and appropriate knowledge of national and local codes. 

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years’ experience with residential inspections
  • TREC Certification preferred

The Purchasing Agent:

  • Purchases materials
  • Manages trade contractors to maintain a competitive edge on costs
  • Meets the company’s standards for quality; reliability, and overall performance of subcontractors and suppliers
  • Ensures that materials are purchased at the best prices as well as, for the most qualified trade contractors
  • Develops and maintains a base of qualified trade contractors and suppliers

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Recruits, selects, and maintains a base of qualified, superior and motivated Trade Partners and suppliers with mutually beneficial relationships
  • Negotiates prices, terms, and rebates with suppliers, manufacturers, and Trade Partners,
  • Negotiates and contracts best pricing for the longest period as possible
  • Assists in maintaining accurate standard specifications and scopes of work for each cost type

The Purchasing Agent position is eligible for remote work after training period is complete. Telecommuting is an available option for this role so long as productive standards required of the position is maintained.

Seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated person to join our Finance team. The Controller will manage all aspects of the Finance department's accounts payable, monthly and yearly close out, financial reporting, budgeting and financial projections, under the directions of the CFO.
